Biography

The Vessel Group was founded in November, 2006. Based in Suwanee, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, founders Marc Melkerson and Jim Hasty (both avid athletes), leveraged their business backgrounds and love of sporting events to establish Raceresponse.com. The goal of Raceresponse.com is to support race directors by providing surveys, analytical results, economic impact studies and special marketing studies to better understand the perspective athletes have of their events and the financial impact of the event on the local economy.
