Cheaha Challenge Century

RaceResponse.com is proud to provide the post event survey for the 16th Annual Cheaha Challenge Century Cycling event in Piedmont, Alabama. Named a Top 10 Event in the State of Alabama as selected by the Alabama Bureau of Tourism & Travel. Frankie Andreu, one of the most popular and well-respected names in American professional cycling, will be a special guest at the 2008 Cheaha Challenge on Sunday, May 4. Andreu retired from racing at the end of 2000 after a 12-year professional career. During his racing career he competed in the Tour de France nine times, riding with US Postal and Lance Armstrong for a portion of that time. Frankie can now be seen on Versus Network, providing commentating for the Tour each year. Frankie will provide guest commentating with lead announcer Jeff Roake at the Sunny King Criterium bike races and festival in downtown Anniston on Saturday night. Andreu will lead the Cheaha Challenge on Sunday morning.
