The Covington Century is hosted by and benefits Project Adventure Kids This is the organizations largest annual fundraiser. About Project Adventure Kids Since 1981 Project Adventure Kids (501c3 non-profit)has helped Georgia*s homeless, abused, neglected and at-risk youth overcome the barriers they face in life. Today the program supports over 100+ kids daily, many of whom live on the 130 acre campus in Covington and Milledgeville. What makes Project Adventure Kids so successful year after year is the combination of a family setting, a caring team of adults, and a non-restraint group process that empowers kids to communicate honestly, make decisions and take responsibility for themselves and their peers.
